Hong Kong Trip Update 3

Hi hi... I am here for new updates! Last Sunday was the first Sunday since my arrival in Hong Kong, I went to my aunt's church, I am really not used to the worship over there... kind of boring... I really missed fellowship in Singapore! Haha... Anyway, after church I went to Mong Kok and shopped a CD/VCD/DVD shop and decided to buy 2 AYUMI HAMASAKI CDs! A Best2 -Black- and A Best2 -White-. Around S$40 for the two CDs, abit expensive lar... but the album is not out in Singapore mar, I can't wait... so... abit guilty actually, spent so much... Haha...

Ayumi is so pretty right??? Look at her big eyes! Haha...

At night I went to Mong Kong's Ladies Street, nu ren jie with my aunt and shop for clothes! There are so many nice clothes over there, yan hua liao luan... Haha...

Ladies street... Nu ren jie...

Next is the food in Hong Kong, I am always talking about food right? Thats because they are really really nice! Hope I wouldn't get fat when I come back, I have been exercising whenever possible... Some photos here to tempt you. Muahaha... I will continue to post photos like this... Don't get jealous ok???

Curry beef rice in a Cha Can Ting...

Lasagna in a famous pasta restaurant in Hong Kong, "Spaghetti House", the pasta here is far more delicious than "Pasta Mania"

Seafood baked rice in "Da Kuai Le", actually last time Tampines have this restaurant but it doesn't really work well in Singapore, but its a really popular fast food restaurant in Hong Kong.

Then on Monday, I had dinner with my
姨, 姨妈 and my 姨丈, we went to this Shanghai restaurant and ofcourse fed my stomach with another meal of good food. Haha...

姨 and me...

There was guo tie, deep fried fish, xiao long bao, jell fish, soup, etc...

On Wednesday, I went out with my friend, Clarence who is also a aviation freak, to the Hong Kong Science Museum to visit Cathay Pacific's first aircraft! Its named Betsy. Being a Cathay fan, how can I not come and visit this piece of art, this beautiful art that marked the beginning of Cathay Pacific?

The entrance of the museum

Betsy! This aircraft is the first aircraft of Cathay, started flying in 1946, now hanged here for us to admire...

After that we went to Star Ferry Harbour to have a good look at the night view of the skyscrapers in Hong
Kong, and of course the view is spectacular! Good to see that air pollution getter better in Hong Kong, its been long I have seen such great night view. Thanks to the government's effort!

The night view from Tsim Sha Tsui, opposite is the beautiful skyscrapers in Central. Spectacular view right???

The old train station's tower... Some history to it, would tell you much, go find out yourself...

This is Clarence...

Such nice view, how can I miss my chance to not take a photo with it???

Anyway the weather here a bit sot sot, suddenly cold and suddenly hot, super humid also, I am already down with flu, much better now, lucky I went to doctor fast enough... Continue to pray for me, left a bit of cough... Will continue to update you all... Its great to share my life, of course must have viewers also, so a BIG thank you to all of you to be so willing to be my audience of my life!

To leave or not to leave...

In my many years of being a believer, I saw and heard many other believers left the church due to clashes with other brothers and sisters. I had also once felt the same way. But today, as I read "The Purpose Driven Life", God once again gave me an answer to this issue that many of us faces...

"Other believers will disappoint you and let you down, but that's no excuse to stop fellowshiping with them. Instead God tells us, "Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other's faults because of your love.""

Let this be a reminder to us...

Hong Kong Trip Update 2

Bustling street in Mong Kok...

Woho! Today is G~R~E~A~T, had a lot of fun with my 姨妈 and 姨丈! We went fishing the whole day. In the morning, we climbed over a small hill and came to this old Tung Chung harbour. We fished there for a few hours but did not managed to get any fish to get on our hooks... So we decided to go to the new Tung Chung harbour to try fishing there and guess what? I was the first one who got a fish hooked! Ahaha... Fishing really tests a person's patience... After me, my 姨妈 and 姨丈 also got their fishes. As for dinner we went back to the old Tung Chung harbour, there is this restaurant by the sea side that serves GREAT seafood... The fish was ah~ touching, the prawns were ah~ touching... Ahaha... Xiaoling should know what I mean.... Haha... Photos time... Talk to much also no use. A picture tells a thousand words...

Hong Kong Trip Update 1

Hi hi, everybody, yah yah, I am now in Hong Kong, thanks to the people that came to send me off! I must say Jetstar Asia is quite a good Low Cost Carrier (LCC)! Comfortable seats, pretty flight attendants and NICE FOOD!!! The hainanese chicken rice was so so fragrant, haha... The plane was a A320, atmosphere was really cosy especially when they dim the lights for the passengers to rest... Toilet was quite dirty though... There was quite a lot of turbulent spots along our flight path. But one thing to note is that, maybe its a small plane, when encountering turbulence, the plane's movement was quite vigorous.

My Jetstar 3K695 plane, a A320.

Leather seats, very comfortable! No one seating at this two seats too! Spacious, spacious!

Take off! Off to Hong Kong!

See that runway, that is the third runway made for terminal 3...

Spectacular view!

Hainanese chicken rice, very nice and portion is big, but the meal plus that pepsi cost S$13... Ex leh...

See that big piece of cloud? We are actually flying above some thunderstorm, abit of turbulence...

For those who went to the airport, this is the vacuum toilet I mentioned to you. This toilet abit dirty though... See the staints...

Cosy cabin right?

Landing process, preparing to go through the clouds...

Today I went to go shop with my aunt, in the afternoon, my aunt and I were joined by my aunt's friend. We came to this really nice cafe that has spectacular view, free internet access are also available!

This cafe is called "The Pacific Cup" if I am not wrong...

My aunt enjoying her cheese cake... Hehe...

My aunt and her friend...

See that building? Thats Cathay Pacific headquarters, behind it is the airport. My aunt lives in Tung Chung (the nearest residential area from the airport), thats why we get such spectacular view of the airport and the sea around...

After that, we bought fresh water fish for dinner, (another aunt came to our house for dinner that night), in Hong Kong, fresh really means FRESH, we seldom see such things in our Singapore supermarkets right. The following are the steps how the person catches a fresh fish for us. Haha...

Step 1:

Step 2:

Step 3:

Update will keep coming... Stay tune! Haha...
