causing trouble, I think those big brothers and sisters 拿我们没办法 in those days. Then CYYAM started to enter into an era of 福音兴旺期. I would say those days was CYYAM's peak, emm, starting from the Sembawang camp, and I remembered the offsprings of that period were Mei Feng, Wai Yee and ofcourse subsquent people like Xiaoling lar, Likuan lar and blah blah blah... In those days, I referred Mei Feng, Wai Yee as the girls who liked S.H.E as they kept on playing S.H.E songs through the speakers in the Sembawang camp. Ahaha... We were so naive those days. Ahaha... CYYAM continued to climbed higher in the work of evangelism and it was all those events that I started to know whats serving people in God's family, back then I was all grumpy and complaining and wanted to be recognized by the work I have done. (神经病 right? Motive all wrong de). But as I saw brothers and sisters working together in joy, not complaining at all, it hit me right in my head. I was wrong, terribly wrong in my motive of serving, they were such a great example for me. But of course, there were downs for me too, when I was in Secondary 4, because of the heavy load of work, I skipped CYYAM for a long time and I started to drift off, spiritually and physically from CYYAM such asIt is the first time that I am dedicating a full blog entry to CYYAM (Chinese Youth and Young Adult Ministry). It was recent gatherings and discussions that brought me to reflect how important CYYAM is to me. Though I was not with CYYAM from the start, I consider myself to be the second generation of CYYAM which also means I was with CYYAM in the early days even though not as early as seniors like Wei En lar, Fiana lar... To look back from where I started, it was through the "I think I'm Christian" camp that I first started to come into contact with CYYAM, I was a very quiet boy then (completely different from the one you see now) as I felt quite uneasy to transit from 主日学 to CYYAM. I mean its like small kids suddenly having to join a group of big brothers and sisters. But it is also through this camp that I started to like all these big brothers and sisters, there is a reflection of strong bondage and warmth of a family that came out from them and I started to anticipate my life in CYYAM. Back then CYYAM was made up of not many people, it was mainly people that stayed in the church since young, I remembered we were very naughty then, I mean the secondary ones then. Always making a lot of noise and starting to not attend events.I was really unhappy and complained about the lack of care and love that I get from brothers and sisters when I did not even try to make the effort, I wanted to leave, some who are in the same situation with me, left, I think you all know who. I remembered Vinc talked to me about this matter, so selfish was I during that time. Naive and selfish... I went for a long long break to Hong Kong, about two months before I came back into the fellowship. From then onwards, I thank God for letting me see that brothers and sisters do care for me, and I learnt how to love through the examples of them and through the meaningful reminders of Uncle James'sermon and as I got more involved emotionally in the family, I felt blessed and happy, this is the kind of joy that no one has ever given me, I started to fall in love with this big family. I thank all those people who supported me whenever I am in trouble. As I went into Poly, I start to compromise serving with my busy schedule and I really regretted it as I have missed a lot of opportunity to serve together. So for now I wish I could grab any opportunity that comes in the way to serve together. I must admit that in recent years especially this year that CYYAM started to go down hill in serving God, I am not saying that we are not serious when serving Him, but we are not as robust as last time. I pray that God will continue to guide us and let us 重拾当初对神的爱与热诚. Once again, I would like to thank CYYAM for building me to be a stronger and more mature person, thank you for all the support, care and teachings you have given me through these years, its here that I learned to serve and love, its here that I felt love and support. I love CYYAM!

Mooncake Festival Gathering
It has been some time since the last time the whole CYYAM gathered, that's why I was really anticipating the gathering at Uncle James' house. The gathering was really enjoyable. Once again, I felt really blessed that I am still in the big family of CYYAM. I liked the singspiration part as Ailing brought as back to the old times through the songs that were so familiar to us, it was quite a nostalgic moment. We were also reminded to look forward and continue to work for God and cherish this big family. We had pot luck dinner and the whole event went smoothly, we had great fellowship and really enjoyed the night! A big thanks to CYYAM!
