I have not update my blog for a few weeks already, so here I am doing some small cleaning of my blog(few weeks already, so accumulated some dust). Erm... This entry will be quite a long one, with lots of topics and lots of photos because these few weeks quite happening. So slowly read har.

Welcome Back Shu Hui!!!

3 weeks in Denmark, *puff* Shu Hui is back! So fast! Much thanks to MSN, I don't really feel she had left us, coz every now and then in the afternoon, Miss Ong will be there to keep me awake from the sleepiness of the boring afternoon, boring work and boring workplace, haha... (Hope I am not bothering you too much!) through MSN of course. Anyway, after 3 weeks of eating only boring bread and boring pasta, I guess Miss Ong is very desparate for some other food, so we went to "Ramen Ten" (don't be jealous, Xiao Ling), a rather new Ramen shop which I also first heard of it due to the "Welcome Back" dinner of course, to EAT. (I can start a new blog that only cater to food).

Frustrated Yi Jun, coz some people talk nonsense har. Mouth so big, go eat your Ramen lar!

Mango Tango. Topped with vanilla ice-cream and accessorized with a little red cherry and contained in a beautiful blue transparent glass.

主角: Oyster Ramen! Strong sesame oil smell, quite filling and quite tasty but not as good as Ajisen. (Xiao Ling might not like this right? Coz its seafood).

Lemon lemon! Chewing gums from Denmark! Thanks Shu Hui!

After dinner, we went to walk walk Kinokuniya book shop and went to Youth park to talk talk. Miss Ong shared a lot of her "happenings" in Denmark, stories about that detestable "Miss Calculator", (hope next round you don't get bullied by her). Miss Ong is going to leave us for 6 MONTHS for the next round. So long. So sad. So good also. Can see snow lar, can enjoy winter lar but also have to endure another round of boring bread and pasta, better buy all the noodles and rice over lor! And bring thicker clothes and jacket, if not freeze to death. Went home quite late that night leh.
Ooi! Jiamin, not ready yet lar!!! Shu Hui like "梁婆婆", 呜呜呜呜呜... Ahaha... Don't kill me! (One of Jiamin's masterpieces).

Much nicer.

Actually, this semester is quite relaxing, coz no more homework, no more projects and no more exams! So there are more chances of meeting up with friends after work. Went to dinner with Le-fu family again on the day before Deepavali. Went to Central at Clark Quay, at first wanted to try out a Ramen restaurant, very authentic kind and selling at $7 price range for a bowl of Ramen, but the queue was super long, so we end up eating at "Da Pai Dang". (Sorry Jiamin, no "Pepper Lunch" for you, I sore throat lar). After that we went to look at "UFOs", ahaha... not real UFOs but those automated flying kites, wah, super cool sia, really really very cool, if you don't believe, go to Clark Quay, there is a field there where all the pros will go there and practice. Actually got very funny photos to share, but not yet arrived so might post them another time ba.

Sand Castle Building!!!

Went to build Sand Castle with Poly group, opps, its ISSAC group! We change name le! Due to some restructuring of CYYAM. Anyway, the sand castle building event also serves as a trial run and publicity photo taking session for our upcoming December gospel camp! First time learn how to build a real sand castle, not play play that type leh. Quite enjoyable and I enjoyed building the staircase for two hours. (Very long lar, yes lar yes lar, but very nice leh!). On the way to dinner, a homet slammed into my chest! I guess its because I am wearing blue! (I have forgotten the terrible experience I have in Kuching, chased by beetles while wearing in blue!) Of course there was I jumping up and down like a monkey to shake it off my body! Yucks! After that went to have dinner at Parkway Parade and then went PP to walk walk.

Such a good weather! Good day for building sand castles!

Shu Mei is doing some commercial for shampoo. Haha...

Lets start building!!!

Our young audiences!

TJC people came over to teach us some skills on how to build.

Building the side walls of the castle.

Mei Foong build this side tower until she gone crazy, coz keep on falling, not enough water lar, haiyo...

I spent 2 hours building my BEAUTIFUL staircase. Ahaha...

Stop nagging hor, very fast de hor. Ahaha...

Our castle got plantation one. Haha...

Front view of our "Goong G", "G" for "Grace Baptist Church". Ahaha...

Back view.

Old castle plus withered tree. Got feel.

Yay! Our "Goong G" finally completed!!! Can you see the name being carved on the sand?

This one built by the pros from TJC, not us har. Haha...

Beautiful sunset!

Wah, Wai Yee, you so fast consider to buy pregnancy clothes ar? Wait long long lar. Ahaha...

Terminal 3 Open House!!!

T3 is finally open for public!!! Le fu family and I went to the T3 open house on last Saturday! Quite a lot of people but not say super crowded that type. Went to walk around first in the landside waiting for Miss Ong to come. Haiyo! Miss Ong ar! Wait for you very de long leh. Haha… Ok lar, I know you got something on suddenly. Then after that cannot tahan waiting already, I went in into the airside myself first. Haha… Need to pay $1 for self guided tour and $3 for guided tour, they say its for charity wor. Of course through out the whole thing, I keep on taking a lot of photos lar. Then while inside, the two who say they won’t come came, Jared and Evonne did freaked me out a bit when suddenly they attacked me from behind, amazing that we can so coincidently met even though the airport SO BIG. After that we went to T2 staff canteen to have dinner and went to T1 viewing gallery to talk talk, drink drink.

First impression:

T3 is I think by far the biggest and most spacious terminal from the previous two terminals. Once in there, the whole cyber look plus garden feel stunned me. The butterfly designed ceiling looks quite nice to me even though Jared say not nice. Even though not as cosy and warm as T2, the concept and design of the terminal I must say is quite amazing.

Overview of terminal 3

Departure hall:

Next time when you are flying with SQ, they will no longer check you in by flight number but rather by class. That’s the new idea. Check-in counters are very cyber looking; check-in areas are huge which in turn will reduce congestions or over crowdedness that sometimes occurs in T1. There are a lot of shops in T3 too, just like a mini shopping centre especially up on the way to the viewing gallery. However, the viewing gallery is a disappointment! With all the fences covering the glass planes, argh… Changi airport is already a very difficult airport for plane spotting and now with T1 blocking the runway view with all the stupid airline offices on the viewing gallery, aviation fans can only expect T3. And what, yes, it is facing the runway but with all those stupid fences! Anyway, the entrance to the airside is quite nice looking. You can also see the immigration hall and the baggage claim area all from the departure hall through big glass pane! The concept is that everything there is transparent which breaks the normal tradition of all the airports around the world.

Viewing gallery, whats with those stupid panes!!!

Cyber looking toilet sign, I like the blue glow. Makes me want to visit the toilet. Haha...

Departure lounge (Airside)

Once inside, there is this very beautiful water fountain, again its very spacious, one very amazing thing is if you are flying through T3 next time, you can actually see the landside if your gate is near B1 to B4! The walls there are glass pane and there is actually a gap on top so if you shout, friends or relatives can hear you! So doesn’t mean once you enter the departure entrance, it is bye bye. You can say goodbye before you enter your gate! Gate B1 to B4 has a combined security check station and a common waiting room. The design feels like that of Hong Kong's airport.

"Boarding pass please, sir, enjoy your flight!"

This is one of the gates for the A380.

The security check point for B1 to B4. "Beep", "Beep", "Beep", "Hey sir, your bag! Please remove your bag and put it on the roller! Don't you know the rules!?"

The long corridors to the gates, can link to T1 and T2.

Skytrain station (airside).

Immigration hall and baggage claim area

Immigration hall is installed with the newest automated clearance system. Baggage claim area is the most beautiful part of T3. With green plants planted on the walls and a shimmering water fountain at every baggage claim belt. The whole design is a mixture of cyber looking and an indoor garden feel.

Conclusion

Nice terminal, I would say even better then Hong Kong’s Chep Lap Kok airport, the design is cool, the airport is spacious and the transparency between landside and airside, just great, hope to see the terminal functioning soon!

Carpets for the new terminal. Big rolls!

No no, this is not T3, this is T2, just like to show you all the welcome "banners" for the A380.

Having a little chat in T1's viewing gallery

Christmas is Coming!

I have already started to write Christmas cards! Haha... Fast right? Anyway I am really looking forward to the Christmas celebration on 23rd Dec, but might not be able to stay over night, coz 24th might have to work! So sad!!! If you are planning to go to the movies this Christmas, avoid "The Golden Compass" if you are a Christian or Catholic, the movie is an anti-christianity story written by someone who of course hates Christians and of course one of our favourite author, C.S. Lewis who wrote "The Chronicles of Narnia".

Camp!

I am able to come to the gospel camp this year!!! YAY!!! Super looking forward to it!!! But I am only available at night but of course I can stay over. Haha...

Entertainment

Recently, while watching Sammi's concert, she did a cover for 郑融's 《红绿灯》,I find the lyrics quite true and the melody very nice, so I searched for it, just to share to you over here and the lyrics.

Recently my aunt sent me an interview TV show series hosted by the Sales Executive of TVB, 陈志云, the setting is in a restaurant where Stephen Chen will interview the artiste while both of them are dinning, quite a new way to interview artistes rather than the normal formal way. And maybe because of the comfortable setting, the artiste tends to be more outward spoken then the usual interviews they have. If you want to know more about the lives of Hong Kong celebrities, this is a must watch. A lot of them come from a complicated background so you must becareful not to absorb their secular values while watching.
