Ratatouille - Simply delicious!

Its long since the last time I have watched any animation movies, my last one was "Finding Nemo" which was one of the box office miracle film by Pixar. However, after that, all the animation movies that came out were mostly made up of senseless plot and lame jokes... All that was portrayed were animal cuteness or animals trying to be smart and this has ruined most of the recent animations. So, when I was watching the trailer of "Ratatouille" in the theater during one of my movie going days, the first thought that sprang up in my mind was, "Hah......, another boring and senseless animation?", but sooner or later, I was proven wrong... All the positive comments and critics started flooding in after the movie was released with Rotten Tomatoes, a movie review website, giving it a high 96% rating. So, that prompted me to give the movie a try and guess what? The movie was wonderful with a very meaningful plot to it.

Don't worry, no spoilers, basically, the story revolves around the friendship between a "chef" and a rat who loves to cook, what makes the story logical was there was no "human knowing how to speak in animal language" or vice versa kind of thing in the story. The story has a clear direction and a strong "moral of the story". Of course what makes the movie even more enjoyable was the visual effects, it was pretty obvious that Pixar puts a lot of effort into the visual component in the movie, details from every stran of rat's fur to the night view of Paris were just too real to be true. This is another example of what it is called a great animation, Ratatouille kind of bring me back to the good old times when Disney produces animation with strong plot which can last for generations to come. Even though Remy, our little rat might not be able to create an everlasting image like Snow White or whatsoever, but this is a great improvement from all the recent craps in animations. However, Disney would have to work harder to create more memorable characters as it is pretty obvious that Disney is going downhill in recent years, but nevertheless, Ratatouille, like the dish itself was a delicious treat!

4/5 stars (Recommended) Critic by "Duh, ofcourse is me lar"...

Anyway, I went to Pasir Ris Park during one of the nights in our holiday to play, yes, literally play, it was as though I went back to my childhood... Haha...

The bright lamps in the park made it possible for us to shoot "artistic" photos. Haha...

We had another Le-fu family outing few weeks before, this time was actually a farewell party for our dear Shu Hui who is flying off to Denmark soon! We had K session in the morning and went to Marina Bay for BBQ/Steamboat for dinner! This is the second time I go for a K session, the first time it was in K-Box, it was super expensive, K-box likes to 砍 youngsters like us, 对得起良心吗?Haha... But this time, we went to Katong Shopping centre's Teo Heng KTV, guess what? We sang for five and half hours non-stop and for six persons, we just had to pay $8 only!!! So happy, next time sure go there and sing, but Teo Heng KTV must book before hand because of the limited rooms.

I am seen here singing with my dear Sammi! 终身美丽!

Strawberry and apple getting abit high from singing over here. Haha...

End of K session!

On the way to Marina Bay, using our fingers as photo frames, nice sia.

Strawberry is going to be squeezed under our deadly fingers! Ooo... Strawberry juice coming out. Haha...

Freshly opened clams!

Again, nicely done sausages by our sausage queen, lemon!

Guess who is the cook who made our prawns so presentable? Of course its me lar! Haha...

Spicy clams!

牛吃草。。。

Yummy! Who is the great cook?

These two girls went sot sot in the midst of the dinner, making so many crazy expressions for us to take photos... Here are only just some lor!Mama Mia!!! Not long after this classic action by Remy, Remy really appeared below our table, apparently Remy wanted to help us cook. (For those who doesn't know who is Remy, he is our cute little rat in Ratatouille), so you know what I mean? No wonder the food was so nice? But to think of it, I think the health inspector has been tied up by his clan, if not why Remy runs around like no other people's business? Don't know what I am blabbering about? Go watch the movie...

Full liao...

Ice-cream time! Ouch! Is that stone Strawberry is biting on?

Dinner ends! All the best to Shu Hui!!!

Yang Guo helping Xiao Long Nv wear her oversized ring. Its actually Strawberry's seemingly edible candy ear ring...
